We are the Bakersfield Diamond Divas, all girl, flat track roller derby team: the glam roller derby located in Bakersfield, California. We are a brand new team ready to take roller derby in a whole new direction. Our inspiration for our team comes directly from the pin ups of the 1940's. The idea that beauty is only skin deep, and you better fear what is underneath: the glamorous look, with a dangerous undercurrent. We are women who come from many different walks of life and just really enjoy the ability to take out our pent up aggression.
